Fall 2014 Term Project :

Prepare a report about the Point-to-point protocol. Your eport should cover the following topics:

1. Introduction, including the history of the protocol
2. Frame structure, give an example filling in all fields
3. Comparison with other data link protocols (Ethernet for example)
4. PPPoE and PPPoA
5. Future of PPP
6. References

Please follow the above structure in your report.

The deadline to submit your report is January 8th, 2015. You may not copy the material from the web. The submission of your report will be through turnitin for which you will receive an account/password soon. The maximum acceptable similarity rate is 20%. You may resubmit your report if the similarity rate is higher than 20%.
